Divya Bharti’s statement clearly stated “Aamir khan ko senior ki tarah bartaav karna chahiye….superstar k tarah nahi” (English: Aamir khan should behave like a senior, not like a super star). The incident dates back to 1992 when Divya Bharti was about to perform with Aamir Khan in a live show. During the practice, Divya did a wrong dance step, which according to her was not a severe mistake and easily covered it up with her performance later. Aamir was not happy with the act. He immediately thought to replace Divya Bharti and even refused to practice with her. Later it was discovered that Juhi Chawla had stepped into her shoes and completed the entire performance with Aamir Khan on stage. Divya was upset and started to cry uncontrollably. This episode in her professional career lead to a never-ending tiff between them. This was the time when Salman stepped up for her help.

Thank God Salman came on time to help me).
