Govinda:

Who can forget the bright pink Ghaghara and sarees draped by Govinda to play the role of Aunty on their friend’s request? The movie turns hilariously comic when two men (Kader Khan and Saeed Jaffrey) start loving aunty and wanted to marry her. The song “Apne jigar ko thaam k baitho” was sung by Arzoo Banoo, a perfect vocalist to justice the character voice. The movie was immensely popular and henceforth Govinda is remembered as the best aunty of bollywood. The movie was based on a Marathi play “Moruchi Mayshi” created by Acharya Atre.

Kamal Hasan:

The character named “Lakshmi Godbole” was played by Kamal Hasan in the movie Chachi 420 where an emotionally driven father who lost visitation rights towards her daughter disguised himself into chachi (elder lady) and enters into his in-laws house as a nanny for his daughter. The movie had a twist when “Durga Prasad” (played by Late Mr. Amrish Puri) falls for Lakshmi and proposes her for marriage. The movie was inspired from a Hollywood movie “Mrs. Doubtfire” and was later made in Tamil named “Avvai Shanmughi” with Kamal Hasan as lead role.

Akshay Kumar:

The khiladi series star needs no introduction. His movies are a cocktail of love, drama and dangerous stunt scenes which justifies the character of the movie. Akshay Kumar took a lady avatar for becoming a friend to his lover. The scene also features Deepak Tijori in a female costume accompanying the actor in their effort to get closer to their girlfriends. The movie was a big hit followed by sequels in 90s and 2012.Khiladi 786, released in 2012 was a Hindi comedy action movie starrring Akshay kumar and Asin in lead roles.

Aamir Khan:

The movie “Bazzi” starring Aamir khan and Mamta Kulkarni was declared as “Super Hit” by Indian Box Office. The movie features two main songs “Dhere Dhere aap mere” which was a remake of a Pakistani song and "Dole Dole Dil Dole" in which Aamir khan is dressed as an item girl. The female avatar was loved by the audience during 90s making it one of the successful movies in Aamir’s career.
